A speeding ticket for motionless car could have cost a Baltimore driver $40 due to an error of a high-tech device used for tracking traffic violations.

The speeding ticket for motionless car was issued by the police to Daniel Doty who was cited for driving his four-door Mazda wagon at 38 miles per hour in a 25-mph speed zone.
